As you explore Hamtaro's world, pressing the A Button brings up a menu of Ham-Chat words. It's up to you to figure out which word you'd like to use. If Hamtaro meets a new Ham-Ham for example, you could choose ham-ha to say hello or hif-hif to smell the new acquaintance. Now that Hamtaro and Bijou are working together, many of the new Ham-Chat words in this game require teamwork between the two Ham-Hams. If Hamtaro and Bijou use the word hamlift, Hamtaro lifts Bijou up onto his shoulders so she can grab things which may be too high to reach otherwise. Choosing the correct word or combination of words to say to other Ham-Hams is the key to reuniting Ham-Ham friends. If you try speaking to a Ham-Ham and a question mark appears in the Ham-Chat menu, then you have to learn that Ham-Chat word before you can help the woebegone Ham-Ham. Everybody Ham-Jam! After reuniting a few Ham-Hams, be sure to stop by the Clubhouse to choreograph your very own Ham-Jam. Ham-Jams are dances you create by linking together Ham-Chat words. The Rubrub Room As Hamtaro and Bijou reunite Ham-Ham couples, their Love Meter increases. The higher their Love Meter, the more rocks they can have polished in the Rubrub room. Hamtaro and Bijou can take the rocks they've collected to the Rubrub room and have them polished to turn them into gems. These gems can then be turned into accessories which Hamtaro and Bijou can hold when they play dress-up in the photo room.
